Our physical therapy programs are designed
to deliver the best possible outcome for a patient. Our programs
attempt to restore normal movement and function while alleviating
pain, weakness, loss of motion or lack of coordination. Treatment
begins with an evaluation to determine the structure involved as well as the
severity and nature of the problem.
Using the tools of evaluation, planning and specific
treatment programs, speech language pathologists can successfully
improve a patient’s communication skills. Our trained staff treat
such disorders as aphasia, swallowing disorders, related neurogenic
speech and language impairments, oral-motor dysfunction, laryngectomy,
Alzheimer’s and hearing impairment.
The occupational therapy program provides services
to individuals who have physical, developmental, cognitive or social
deficits. Our services treat patients who require specialized assistance
to help them achieve maximum independence in functional daily living
skills and abilities.
