Kelly was named to the position of Blue Sky Therapy’s Human Resources Manager in December 2008.  Joining the team in May of 2008 as the Human Resources Administrator, she quickly rose through the ranks.  Kelly provides invaluable Human Resources support to the Senior Management Team members and their Departments, and she often serves as the first point of contact on employee issues. Administering all of the company benefits and leads strategic planning efforts aimed at human resource management excellence, Kelly’s experience spans employee relations, performance management and training and development. She is a member of the Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM). She is always pleasant, personable and extremely professional while at all times keeping our employees interests foremost in her thoughts.

Kelly earned her Bachelors Degree in Human Resources from Geneva College in Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania. Prior to joining Blue Sky Therapy, she held various management and human resource positions in the mortgage industry bringing with her over 9 years of experience.

Joe Smaldino

Joseph M. Smaldino, Human Resources Assistant.  Joe’s position was designed to provide Human Resources support to both management and employees. He is responsible for maintaining the human resources data systems, ensuring compliance with new hire and current employee paperwork and the coordination of organizational and various company sponsored employee contests and activities. Joe goes the extra mile in providing excellent customer service to our most valued assets – our employees!

Joining Blue Sky Therapy in 2006 as an Aide he left in 2007 to continue his education and graduated from Youngstown State University in 2008 with a degree in Human Resources Management. Upon graduation, Joe returned to Blue Sky Therapy because he believes Blue Sky strives for the highest level of quality, sets the standard for excellence and has a passion unlike any he has seen for encouraging employees to reach new career heights.

Jeff Sebest

Jeff Sebest, Payroll Administrator. Jeff is assiduous, conscientious and dedicated to ensuring that all phases of the bi-weekly payroll for Blue Sky Therapy employees is in compliance with company policies and federal, state, and local taxing authorities. He is certified by the American Payroll Association and possesses up to date detailed knowledge of the entire payroll process and legal requirements. Jeff sets an example for his peers with honesty, goodness and integrity in all circumstances. Joining Blue Sky Therapy in May of 2005, he holds a degree in Accounting and spent over 15 years as the Office Manager for a private medical practice where he gained exceptional experience in the billing, payroll and accounts payable processes before joining our team.

Jennifer Javens, Staff Accountant.   Jennifer ensures that Blue Sky Therapy’s monthly billing process runs as smooth as possible for both the company and its customers.  In addition, she is responsible for processing accounts payable and the generation of weekly operations financials.  Jennifer is sedulous in ensuring that the outcome of her work brings favorable results. She is always willing to offer assistance to her co-workers and is a team player.

Prior to joining Blue Sky Therapy in January 2009, Jennifer worked in the mortgage title industry and has performed all aspects and phases of general accounting.

Thomas A. Berry, III, Office Services Coordinator. Thomas is responsible for maintaining Blue Sky Therapy’s high level of customer service to both our valued clients and employees. His talents were quickly recognized as he set an extraordinary customer service example from day one.  Thomas’s philosophy is that customer service begins with good communication. Thomas represents an ideal to which we all aspire in providing outstanding customer service. Hard-working and conscientious, he ensures that the office functions for the various Senior Management Team members and their Departments are effectively carried out on a day-to-day basis. Thomas wins rave reviews for his “it is my pleasure” positive attitude from both management and peers.

Brooke Seckler

Brooke Seckler, Home Care Coordinator.  Brooke serves as the liaison between Blue Sky Therapy and the home health care agencies that contract physical, occupational and speech therapy services. She is responsible for the task of filling the various staffing needs that our growing home health care contract therapy service has developed over the past couple of year.  Possessing a high level of energy, maturity and organizational skills, she exhibits an above average understanding of the importance of continually improving customer service and communication with both our clients and employees.  Brooke exemplifies the values and ideals embraced by Blue Sky Therapy.  She is admired for her friendly, generous, congenial and refreshing youthful outlook on everyday life.

Joining Blue Sky Therapy in June 2007 as a therapy aide before transferring to the Corporate Office, she is currently enrolled in the Exercise Science Program at Youngstown State University.  Brooke’s long term goal is to become a Licensed Physical Therapist.
